The Big Read 2012 will be focusing upon the Gospel of Mark, using "Lent for Everyone: Mark" written by Tom Wright.
Radio Teesdale: Lent Broadcasts
2012 is the third year that Radio Teesdale has broadcast. The whole reading for each day is broadcast at 7.00am, 1.00pm and 10.00pm. and is also streamed on the Internet at: Radio Teesdale
Radio Teesdale has also just started the second series of a programme called “Sing to the Lord”, an hour long programme rather on the style of the BBC Radio 2 “Sunday Half Hour” programme. This is broadcast by a different local presenter each Sunday morning at 10.00a and repeated at 8.00pm that evening. It is valuable for the housebound and those who, for whatever reason, are unable to attend church.

- Housegroup themes
- An exciting panel of ‘reflectors’ for each week’s theme
- The ‘Menu’ structure
- Talk to your church leader/church meeting about adopting #bigread12 as your church’s Lent housegroup programme
- Advertise your housegroups in your church and neighbourhood
