Event risk assessments

Risk assessment should be carried out for church activities and notification of events with church groups off the premises must be given to the church safeguarding officer PRIOR to the agreement for any event or off site activity.

If the activity is unusual or considered to be high risk the church safeguarding officer will contact the circuit safeguarding officer in order that it can be ratified or any queries raised. (See attached documents for an event risk assessment pro form and an example.

Guest Wi-fi Acceptable Use Policy February 2021

The acceptable use policy should be displayed, or be accessible to users by means of a prominent hyperlink, before the user gains access to the Wi-Fi network. The Acceptable Use Policy/the terms and conditions of the contract must be available in a way that allows the user to store and reproduce them. Encouraging users to print terms and conditions is a common way of doing this.
