Who needs DBS checks?
Anyone who has a role in the Methodist Church that directly involves children and vulnerable adults, will need an appropriate DBS check. Follow this link to find a guide to recruiting staff and volunteers.
What about those who no longer need a DBS check?
This DBS Exemption Form is for ministers and local preachers no longer active or with a public role.
Who processes DBS Checks?
DDC (Due Diligence Checking Ltd.) are our new Registered Body that will be processing all DBS applications for the Methodist Church.
