Please note: Safeguarding training records are held as a Legitimate Interest under the General Data Protection Regulations in the North East Region these are held securely by the Regional Safeguarding team.

Training Dates 2019
Before booking, please check that:

  • you need to attend the training as part of your church, circuit or district role(s). Find the full list here.
  • you have completed the Creating Safer Spaces Foundation Module 2016. The Advanced Module builds on the material from the foundation course so it is important that you have completed it before the attending the advanced course.
  • you have enough time to complete the essential preparation booklet (1.5 hours) before the course. Paper copies of the booklet are available locally or can be ordered through Methodist Publishing. So, you may need to allow yourself extra time to source a paper copy.
  • there are spaces left on the course (see below). If the course is full your name will be added to the waiting list.
