Rebecca Catford: January 2019
North East Chaplaincy Gathering
Saturday March 16th, 2019
9.30am — 4.30pm at St John's College, Durham
An opportunity for Chaplains in the North East to 'gather' together and explore areas of common concern. This day is for all chaplains — full or part-time, paid or voluntary, from any area of work, or organisation. It will also be helpful to those who are considering following a calling to chaplaincy.
Speaker: Ann Morisy, a community theologian and author of the best-selling books 'Beyond the Good Samaritan' and 'Journeying Out' as well as 'Bothered and Bewildered: Enacting hope in troubled times'. She writes about issues in a way that people 'find hard to put down', and in a manner that enables them to incorporate the ideas into their practice.
Alongside discussion and reflection there will be time to network and support each other.
The event is by ticket only — register by clicking on the 'Register' button — further details will follow.
Registration is via the Eventbrite link.
Please contact Fiona Usher at firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone 07850937236 if you have any enquiries.
This Gathering of chaplains is organised as a partnership between Northumbrian Industrial Mission, Workplace Chaplaincy Mission UK & Methodist Chaplaincies
