On 29th February 2020 the Darlington District Courageous Day was organised by youth workers and young people from the District and was an opportunity for children, young people (aged 8-23 years) and their leaders to Engage, Speak Out and Respond with relevant issues in their lives and the church. The day was held at The Well in Darlington from 10am-4pm.

On the day there was Youth led worship and prayer, What's our story? with District Chair Richard Andrew, responses to the 3Generate Manifesto with two of our 3Generate national reps, sharing stories and ideas for action, meeting new people, making new friends, sharing food and finding out about new opportunities. We also heard from our ONE Opportunity Programme young people and made a first step in collaborating for growth.

One of the afternoon projects was to create a zine, the young people shared on their thoughts on the day in various creative ways and it was collaborated by one of the ONE Opportunity Programme participants. This zine gives something to share and look back on.
