Barnard Castle & Teesdale Methodist Circuit Online Creative Workshops: Old Testament Book of Ruth
The Barnard Castle & Teesdale Circuit is offering a Creative Arts Workshop focussing on the Bible month theme of Old Testament Book of Ruth. The invitation is also to those in other churches and to those who are not members of any church.
In the current circumstances, we are offering a series of on-line workshops via a Zoom link-up.
We encourage people to use any creative arts with the resources that they have to hand. This may include painting and drawing; photography; collage; textile art; meditative colouring; creative writing (poetry, story or song writing); creative cookery; or other creative activities that we haven't thought of!
We aim to provide a welcoming space to discover more about the Christian faith wherever people are on their own faith journey and whether or not they have tried creative writing or artwork before.
For more information or to register, please email alan.coustick@methodist.org.uk (01833 908604)
This is a drop-in style of workshop and it is not necessary to attend all the sessions or all the dates. Because of the nature of the online format, we would encourage those wanting to take part to join at the beginning of a 2-hour session (at 10.00 am, 2.00 pm or 7.00 pm) for the opening briefing and conversation even if not intending to stay for the whole of a 2-hour session.
