We are living out Our Calling through Service by:

  • Engage with our local communities through specific projects
    Food Banks + Holiday Clubs + Make Lunch + Holiday @ Home + Gardening Project (Living Garden — education) + MAX + Charity Shop + Hospitality Services- Cafes + Soup kitchen + Oldies youth club + Luncheon Clubs + Children's activities + Youth groups + Toddler Time + Fairtrade + Silver screening of classic films + Men's Supper Club + Open the Book + Night Light and Redcar Beacons + Good Neighbours — shopping, hospital visiting + Chaplaincy
  • Using the resources and skills we have
    Hosting groups in buildings + Providing safe space + Rites of passage + Transport + Fellowship + Pastoral Visitors + Flower Ministry + Prayer Blankets + Christmas Post + Pastoral Visitors + Donations to charities + Befriending — coffee mornings, craft sessions, community lunches, memory cafe + Computer training

These responses were from Spring Synod on 12 May 2018, when we met together as a district. During the course of the day we looked at how we live out our faith.
