Celebrating Women's Ministry

On Saturday the 14th of September we celebrated women in ministry at Elm Ridge Methodist Church.

It was the 50th anniversary of the ordination of women as presbyters in the Methodist Church. There was also an acknowledgment of all women who have given and still give to the Methodist church through various types of ministry. After a service of celebration there was an afternoon tea with sandwiches and cake. The feedback of the event acknowledged all the hard work that went into organising the event.
