Conference 2025

This year at The Methodist Church Conference in Telford, the Darlington District was represented in many different ways. Some of us were volunteers, some of us represented our District and some of us were taking part as observers.

The Conference has responsibility for the oversight of the whole life of the Church and it meets annually in both its Representative Session and Presbyteral Session. The business of the Conference is done, and decisions are made, by seeking the will of God through conferring together.

If you feel like you would like to become a representative even if it's just for 1 year then please get in touch with the District Administrator. It's a great opportunity to experience the gathering of Methodists and learn, laugh and work together.
