Hope Church, East Cleveland

We are sad to announce that Hope Church, East Cleveland is moving out
of the Old Coop Building in Loftus and as a result, pausing its activities. 
 
The reason for this pause is due to the liabilities under a commercial
lease. We have been advised these liabilities in the contract may make
our work there more difficult if we stayed in the building. We are actively
looking for alternative premises within the Loftus area, where the church
is based and would be interested to rent or partner with other
organisations.
 
Being at the heart of the Loftus community, the Coop building has served
us well for many years, and we know that this pause will have an impact
on paid and volunteer staff, and on a great many people for whom Hope
has become part of their life and support network. 
 
For the past few years, Hope Church, has provided a weekly grocery,
toddlers and drop-in -always with a cup of tea and a friendly welcome. In
addition, it has run a weekly youth club and organised holiday activities,
as well as seasonal celebrations with a Christian theme. 
 
We are thankful for all that has been offered and received over these
years, and for the real difference Hope has made to people's lives.
