Trinity Methodist Church in the West Durham Methodist Circuit are seeking to employ a 'Place to Be' Project Coordinator to work alongside church volunteers in establishing a new project.

The 'Place to Be' drop-in will include a subsidised community shop and free clothing bank, in addition to offering light refreshments, wellbeing advice and information.

Building on the success of their current foodbank the project will provide space for people to meet and spend time together, offer a warm welcome, encourage conversations and relationship building.

'Place to Be' is about welcome and acceptance. This is an exciting new project for the church and if you are passionate about supporting local communities and bringing hope to people who are struggling, they would love to hear from you.
