In May the lovely group of Darlington District Methodist Women in Britain (MWiB) had a quiet day at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church led by Rev Rachel Pinkney.
The theme was 'Were they satisfied?' based on the feeding of the five thousand. In groups, the bible reading was discussed, and this was followed by making bread.
During the lunch break people were able to visit the prayer stations. The baked bread was then shared.
Worship with hymns, poetry and readings was followed by a craft activity.
It was a day of joy in gathering and learning and creating things together.
