Folk from Norton Methodist Church have been working hard every week to supply local people with food items that otherwise would be thrown into the waste bin. It's run entirely by volunteers. The purpose is to reduce food waste. The Pantry also offers a selection of longer life products for those who are struggling to make ends meet. They are also operating as a community fridge with support from the Coop and you will see additional developments for the sharing of food in the coming months. They open every Sunday at 12:30pm and usually people are already queuing outside the doors. A huge thank you also goes to Tesco, Morrions and Fareshare.
