Pilgrimage for Rural Mission took place on the 13th of July.
The pilgrims were ready to embark on a journey through Eskdale Valley. It was clear from the onset that it was going to be very wet. The pilgrims were nourished with drinks and sustenance at Lealholm Methodist church. An elaborate lunch was offered to us at Glaisdale Head Church. We took a small act of worship in both places learning about the life of a church in rural areas.
The struggles that the wet weather brought were a welcomed learning point to all pilgrims involved.
