It would be focused on one church only. However, the lay pastor does not hold their membership in that church. A profile and role description for the appointment would need to be drawn up by the CLT and agreed by the Circuit Meeting.
The local church would go through a discernment process to help them understand what work needs doing. What is the specific role they would benefit from?
The local church would need to apply for LLP. They would need to have supervision policy and process in place.
LLP line management falls on the local Minister and staff team. Line Management training delivered by Learning Network is an essential part of this.
Pay the expenses of the LLP travel and possible project associated costs.
