Data Protection

Local churches, circuits and districts hold a variety of personal data. This brings with it obligations under Data Protection legislation. The Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes provide advice on best practice.

Data Protection Champion – Revd Roy Burley is the Darlington District GDPR Champion and the first point of contact for Data Protection queries.

Each year the District, Circuits and Churches all complete a Data Protection Audit to ensure we are compliant with the requirements for data protection.
