Church Policy Checklist 2024

A breakdown of all of the tasks outlined in the Model Church Safeguarding Policy, so the church safeguarding Officer and the Church Council can ensure that all tasks have been done and documents. Useful for Church Safeguarding Officers and Church Council Members.

Church Safeguarding Officer Council Report

A breakdown of the role of the Church Safeguarding Officer, so they can evidence that they are doing all of the tasks required of them. This can be used as part of an annual report to the Church Council on safeguarding. Useful for Church Safeguarding Officers.

Posters for your Church Notice Board

Safeguarding Commitments and Contact Poster

A poster that all churches should have on display on their noticeboard. If you are in an LEP (Local Ecumenical Partnership), here is a specific one for you.

Domestic Abuse Poster

A poster to make clear the church’s commitment to highlighting the dangers of domestic abuse, in all its forms, and where people can find support to protect themselves. This is for all churches to display on their notice board, and in other places, such as the toilets. You can also order stickers with the numbers for helplines on here, which are ideal for the back of toilet doors.

Good Conduct Poster

A simple poster outlining expectation of behaviour and conduct when using the building. We often assume that people know how to behave appropriately in church, but don't always explain what that means! This is to display on your church notice board.
