When is the next training?

Here is a list of dates for all of the upcoming trainings happening across the Darlington and Newcastle Districts. For more information about training including what the training involves, who needs to do the training, and FAQ, click here.

Foundation Modules

Face-to-Face Foundation Modules

Circuits organise Face-to-Face Foundation Module training sessions, which are then advertised here.

• Thursday 22nd May, Brunswick Methodist Church, Newcastle, 10 am- 12.30 pm, and 1.30 pm- 4 pm. Please contact Fiona Wells at Fiona@brunswickmethodist.org.uk to book a place.
• Saturday 14th June, St John's Methodist Church, Whitley Bay, 10.15 am -approx. 1 pm. Please contact Colin Raistrick at stjohnsmethodistoffice@gmail.com to book a place.
• Saturday 21st June, Cullercoats Methodist Church, 10.15 am – approx. 1 pm. Please contact Fiona Wells at Fiona@brunswickmethodist.org.uk to book a place.
• Saturday 21st June, Richmond Methodist Church, 9.30 am- 12 noon, with drinks from 9 am. Email Julie Greenslade at admin@nydalesmeth.org.uk to book a place for yourself or someone else.
• Carville Methodist Church, Durham host an in-person Foundation Module on the first Saturday of every other month. If you would like to know when the next one is happening, please contact Stuart Lawson on stuart.lawson123@aol.co.uk, or call 07949264759.

If no Foundation Modules are happening near you, please get in touch with your Circuit Safeguarding Officer (CSO), who will be able to organise a training session. If you are a CSO, and would like to work together with CSOs in neighbouring Circuits to organise training together, email Rachel Bourne at neregsafe.office@gmail.com, who will be able to link you up.

Advanced Modules

We're in the process of planning our Face-to-Face Advanced Modules for the next year.

Online Advanced Modules
